No ambiente de Balanço menos (2013), o público encontra uma mesa monumental, com mais de oito metros de comprimento, inteiramente recoberta por uma camada de algodão. Em uma das cabeceiras, uma velha senhora permanece sentada, fiando lentamente — gesto contínuo, paciente, quase hipnótico. Ao seu lado, a única outra cadeira está vazia.
Essa cadeira, porém, não é apenas ausência: é convite. O fruidor pode sentar-se ali e também produzir o fio, incorporando-se ao ritmo da ação. Se ousar ocupar a cabeceira, talvez escute os segredos que ela murmura — confidências destinadas apenas aos ouvidos de quem aceita compartilhar, com ela, o mesmo lugar à mesa.
In the environment of Rockaby less (2013), the audience encounters a monumental table, over eight meters long, entirely covered by a layer of cotton. At one of its ends, an elderly woman remains seated, slowly spinning the cotton—an ongoing, patient gesture, almost hypnotic. Beside her, the only other chair is empty.
Yet this chair is not merely absence: it is an invitation. The viewer may sit there and also produce the thread, joining the rhythm of the action. If they dare to take the seat at the head of the table, they may hear the secrets she murmurs—confidences meant only for the ears of those willing to share, with her, the same place at the table.
